What this is

FinVAssist is a small software system that keeps track of calendars, bills, tasks and deadlines, and delivers timely reminders. The assistant application is called Alfred. It runs on a hosted workflow automation platform and delivers reminders through several channels: a messaging app, an automated phone call, and SMS.

What Alfred does

Watches calendar entries, bill due dates and task lists
Sends a reminder when a scheduled trigger fires — automatically, with no message typed by hand
Reads back the schedule and finds open time slots on request
Places an automated reminder phone call when a reminder is marked as important
